FIX: Failed – Download error in Google Chrome
Dec 30, · I am having issues downloading any files over 20 - 30 Mb's. And it isn't my Wi-Fi or ISP or connection at fault. I tested the last download I had issues with on my pixel 3a XL phone using only my Wi-Fi connection to download. and the file got too 98% before I decided the test had succeeded. the files on my phone, downloaded the files at or close to my full internet speed, 6Mbps. no issues what. I am having issues downloading any files over 20 - 30 Mb's. But, the issue does not occur when I am using Internet Explorer I am able to download it with out any issues. I know there is an update for windows availible that takes the build to I am not sure if the issue would be fixed if I installed the patch. I looked up the KB, and it says it fixes connectivity issues for those using Proxies.
I don't personally use a proxy, but I know my ISP uses a proxy somewhere in the line of getting my data from my house to the internet. Or is this a bug with "the new edge"? This thread is locked.
